The Alliance for Aging, Inc., is a private, not-for-profit organization that serves as Florida’s area agency on aging for more than 600,000 older adults in Miami-Dade and Monroe Counties. The Alliance administers federal, state, and locally-supported programs that help older adults age in place in their own communities. The Alliance ensures fiscal and programmatic accountability and integrity of programs that annually serve over 92,000 elders and their families, totaling over $39 million in home and community based services, including meals, personal care and homemaking through contracts with provider agencies. The mission of the organization is to promote and advocate for the optimal quality of life for older adults, adults with disabilities, and their families.
